I've been a studio artist and pottery instructor for over 15 years. In addition to creating my own work there I also manage Midwest Clay Project, a thriving local pottery studio. One constant inspiration that hasn't changed over my years of experience: my passion for form and the way flow interacts with it. The way flows between my fingers, how my vessel shape flow in waves and curves and how glaze flows across the surface of my forms. My goal has driven me at every turn in my ceramic career to pursue harmony between the utilitarian and ascetic relms to delve farther into myself in order to reveal and infuse awe in my work for its sake and the sake of its users.
