Hi! My name is Moe and I'm the ceramic artist behind Emo Pottery! I've been working with clay since 2006, and teaching pottery classes since 2023. I enjoy exploring new styles of decoration and firing methods. You can find unique textures on most of my pieces, and my signature swirly handles on my mugs. These handles are designed to be disability inclusive. They were inspired by my dad, who was diagnosed with ALS. I wanted to create a mug he didn't have to use finger strength to grip, instead he is able to slide his fingers in the swirl and use his wrist strength to support the weight of the mug. I'm always looking for new ways to make pottery that is accessible for everyone!
